Small business, those firms with <100 workers, provided employment for 41.7 million US workers as of the last census. These businesses created 1.4 million jobs from 2002 to 2004.
In California 7.5 million workers or ½ of the state’s workforce is employed by small businesses.
In Orange County 55% of the workforce or over 750,000 people work for companies that employ <100 people.
The overall standard of living and quality of life in the United States is reliant on the success of the business leaders who run small and medium-sized businesses.
It is important for our Presidential Candidates, both Republican and Democrat to understand the importance of helping our small and medium-sized business owners continue to hire and grow their businesses.
